Just picked up a convertible that’s been sat around a while after a shunt. Bit of mould on the carpets. Dried & hoovered but still see the marks. Any car shampoo or is there one or something that’s better for this?

There are probably specific products for it, but the best I've found for removing stubborn stains from carpets is white vinegar.

First give the area a spray of 50/50 white vinegar and water mix, then place a white cloth on top and iron it with a steam iron. The dirt should then lift off onto the cloth.

Naturally check in a concealed area that the carpet can handle the vinegar and heat first.

If you have a carpet shampooing machine you can extract most of the mould. The YouTubers use AutoSmart BioBrisk which leaves an enzyme in the carpet that continues to work after it has dried. There are probably other household equivalents available, so buying something similar from Lakeland or Robert Dyas and spraying it on the clean carpet should have similar effect.

If they are removable, not glued in, take out and pressure wash.
But not the ideal time of year to hang out to dry!
