ARGHHHHHH!!!

Not having a very good day today...

A couple of fairly major things have gone wrong, but what's making everything a whole lot worse at the moment is the small, annoying issue of a missing key.

It's the key for the post box on the front of the house - Not an essential item as usually it's possible to remove the post without needing the key, but it'd be handy to have it around anyway.

Thing is, I know I've put it somewhere really daft. Just not sure where. I'm going to resort to looking in the fridge in a minute!

Anybody got any suggestions for unlikely places to leave a key? :D

pockets of clothes in the wash? Recently had the same issue with my old digital camera and a shoehorn! Camera turned up in a pocket on my horn case!

God knows what happened to the shoehorn...

I have a drawer in my filing cabinet labelled, "a safe place", I've checked it for you, but it's not there.

Do you have bowls/containers on the windowsills and fireplace, if so, check there.

This is no help at all - but I once spent 15 minutes on the phone cancelling a cheque book that I thought I had lost outside. The whole time it was on the table right in front of me while I was talking to the bank.
