Windy in London today

I thought it was a bit windy today, an Embraer 190 from Dublin to London City has just climbed out of his second landing attempt at LCY.

He’ll be back in 3 mins giving it another go - currently 35km out @ 6,000ft.

Now headed South over Kent at 8000', so I am guessing Gatwick. Yes, he is lining himself up turning SW.

They’re down. Wonder what the process will be now. I recently got diverted from Dallas to San Antonio - we had to wait to be fueled and let the storm clear and then aim back to Dallas - but by then there were 50 planes ahead of us!
