This looks more bought than homemade, but I might be wrong. It is mousse though, right? Certainly looks good on a Christmas dinning table.

Looks professionally made, easy enough to find in a pattiserie if you look for logs.

It'll be a glaze over mousse of some description and then in the centre some sort of sponge/biscuit and maybe something richer or stronger flavoured

Yule log, patisserie. All making sense, but I can't find similar when I Google.

They made these on the bakeoff new year special.
Should be able to get it on 4OD.

Most patisseries won’t have these as a shelf item for sale as they’re expensive and have a short shelf life.

You’d be better to look up any local patisseries and ask them if they’d make one to order.

yes Skip to the showstopper if you can't face the rest but it was a good episode IMO.
