Fun car that could be a future investment

I just came back from my parents place and my dad bought a GR Yaris. 63 years old and he bought a hot hatch whilst my brother and I bought a 2010 bmw touring and a Tesla Model Y. Family life huh..
Anyway, I had a fiesta St and a golf R before my Tesla (tax expense btw) and I miss my fiesta. Sold it too cheap, lots of regret.
After bombing my dad’s GR Yaris around the mountains, I am absolutely dumbfounded by how capable of a car that is. Obviously living in the mountains it’s the perfect place for it however I’m seriously tempted into getting one.
I have 24k available and I was thinking about the following
Getting my fiesta ST back mk7.5 - decent unmolested low mileage seems to be about 10.5k
Mk2 focus RS - RS500 is just miles out of price range
Yaris GR - would find a way to make money here
GR86 - same here.
These four are the options. All of which would in my opinion retain their value or be future investments however I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t going to have a bit of fun in them.
Not interested in fuel economy but would love to hear from someone who has driven the mk2 RS or the GR86.
These are the options until I am miraculously gifted a GT4 RS 😂

Don't think you'll get a GR Yaris or 86 for only £24k - you'll need at least another 5 grand for the Yaris and another 10 for the GR86, at least for now.
Focus could work, but the Fiesta will continue to lose money for a while yet, then again it's pretty cheap anyway.
Older stuff will obviously give you the best chances of getting your money back as they are no longer depreciating, here's a couple with the excellent driving dynamics you are after

Quite a bit newer is the Subaru WRX STI - I'm hedging that they didn't sell many of these, so they could retain their value pretty well

I’m aware on the GR lot as I’d have to find about 10k for both because circuit pack would be the only way to go to be honest on the GR Yaris.
I’ll take a look at the ones you sent! Appreciate that I hadn’t really thought of them.
Lightweight is definitely a big interest! I think it’s what attracts me to the fiesta and the Yaris .

Personally I would focus more on getting the right car than any investment potential.
Although older cars may offer better potential to avoid depreciation, like the E46 M3. But running costs will soon swallow any potential appreciation in value. My BMW Z4M Coupe with the same S54 engine has proved that.
