Jaguar XK coupe vs Mustang Convertible (or...?) - rear seats
Discussion
Hi all
I have a 2006 Jaguar XK but going forwards there will sometimes be a need for my girlfriend to sit in the back of the car - and even at a tiny 5ft 2in she still can't fit comfortably in the Jag! Leg space is doable but she has to bend forward due to the roof slope.
Would a Mustang convertible (circa 2017) have more head room space? I believe convertibles generally do have a little more than coupes.
She'd need to be able to sit comfortably (not head bent forward!) for trips of up to 2 hours.
I believe the A4 convertible has a lot of headroom, not sure about the A5?
She's not a fan or Mercs or Beemers but I quite like the Merc E series convertibles, looks like they'd have quite a bit of space?
Cheers

The E Class convertibles have a nice amount of space, not sure how much you want to spend but take a good look at the Mercedes CL500/63 although they're not a convertible but once you drop all the windows away & open the sunroof you'll have a great car that your OH won't mind spending 2 hours plus in.

Find one with Air Cooled seats & you'll pretty much have every option ticked.

The Mustang coupe should be fine if she's 5'2". Based on my kids sitting back there comfortably, I'd say 5'6" is the max without having to duck your head.
Thanks - and I guess the convertible has even more head room than the coupe. Think we need to go look at one and try out the back seats... hang on, may need to rephrase that!!
