Swmbo needs a watch to record steps and to link with her iphone when scanning barcodes. She had a Fitbit which has been quite unreliable. I suspect due to getting what you pay for.

Appreciate your help & experience.

I'm not sure about the scanning of barcodes, but check the Amazfit - I just bought one and it does all the fitness, sleep, heart rate stuff and also Bluetooth to your phone for receiving (but not making) calls, alerts for messages etc, not quite an Apple watch, but looks as good and only around £120.

Have a look at Amazfit [2022 New Version] GTS 2 on Amazon.

And it holds a charge for a week too! I've been very impressed with it so far, but the barcode thing may scupper that as a choice.
