I need flashing UFO lights

I need about 4 lights, of 4 different colours, very bright in intensity, and they need to flash in sequence (one at a time, .25 second delay would suffice)

The whole unit needs to weight as little as possible, as id like to attach it to ... erm... a hot air balloon Im making :paperbag:

Can anyone help me rig something up? Im no electrician and need a helping hand :yes:

Bob, just use one of those chavvy things some truckers stick in their cabs. It wouldn't matter about the colour/timing of the lights shirley?

re: the lights, where can you buy a 4 bulb wired loop (or something with at least 2 different colours) which is super light in weight?

I would guess a cluster of LEDs would be the best solution. At least if you want the lights to be seen, rather than have them shine on something.
