I noticed that during the 'What the frig does your name mean' post, people were saying that they couldn't get a certain username, because it was taken.
Where are these people who have taken the time to register, but not any time to post???
How many people are registered in total, and how many of them participate on the forums?

Total membership is 19,169 at the moment according to the members screen. I'll wager that three quarters of them have not posted on more than one topic.
I only registered to get the newsletter originally, it was only more recently that I started taking an active interest in the Gassing Station.

I've counted 19,169 users so far; ok, I didn't count them myself, it's written on the Members-Page
I think, most of them only receive the email newsletters.
Perhaps some of them even don't know about the existence of these stunning forums...
They're probably still entering PH via the start page
