Fragmented TV streaming
Discussion
I wanted to watch Fawlty Towers tonight. I have NOW TV, Apple TV, Paramount +, Prime, Disney +, obviously BBC Iplayer, ITVX etc.
I couldn't find it anywhere, even if I wanted to pay Amazon to rent or buy.
I believe everything the BBC has ever produced should be available to me whenever I want as long as I pay my TV license. It isn't. I suspect it's something to do with Britbox or whatever it is called.
Is there a sensible central repository that will tell you where to watch what you want? It 's frankly an absolute mess. How can I watch Fawlty Towers? With more streaming coming in it's going to get worse I fear. Definitely an opportunity for some tech to centralise the whole shabang.

Downloaded the app- shows only one place to stream- Britbox. Not sure why yours says that?
Pass. I don't have Britbox so I don't have it selected. I have Sky and Now TV still selected in my services as I only recently stopped Now TV but it's something I might go back to. I just tried adding Britbox to my services in Justwatch and it still doesn't show Fawlty Towers for it, just Sky streaming and Amazon to buy. It's not in ITV X either, ITV X Premium includes Britbox.Gassing Station | TV, Film, Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
