Not sure why the need to delete the thread tbh. I think if anything it was a valuable warning to PH viewers of the risks and outcomes of being groomed on social media into these types of scams - I would guess ReverendCounter was groomed on one of the discord / reddit type sites which are notorious for 'pumping' meme stocks like BBBY. Nobody likes being the victim of a scam. Hopefully he is ok and hopefully no one followed him into the scam.

Quite a good read when everyone sees a thread like this and thinks how easy it must be to make money on stuff like this.

Why Investing Is Hard.

That was a good read. Nothing wrong with an occasional quick win, but you need the willpower to quit while you’re ahead and not get greedy.

I’ve bet on horses only twice in my life after hearing tips. Both came in at circa 8 to 1, but I’ll never do it again unless I hear another tip. I have the willpower to know it’s a mugs game really.

original thread seemed very excited about a stock being up 10% on a specific day.

Same stock is showing as being down 50% over 5 days, down 94% over 5 years. And the company has warned of bankruptcy…..

BBBY, the issue with these things (amongst many other issues) was that people late to the game may have bought the underlying stock naively thinking that they could get in.
From the last time, I recall most smart ( pumpers) people actually had far out of the money options, often a very little cost pre pump or dump as the case may be.
Without access to a provider and access to when the pump is starting, it’s no more than random gambling
