Front indicator bulb
Discussion
Turned left today and got my first DB9 problem of the new year. (A six-day run, not bad) (even though it was parked for five of them).
The message is saying the bulb's gone. Can't seem to find anything on how to change it, but do I presume it's a total pig of a job which will need the front jacking up, wheel off, headlamp unit out etc?

If you might prefer not to see the orange colour appearance (all front lights off), I think there was a topic a long time ago, about how (presumably a particular type of bulb replacement) it can be eliminated.
A tiny point, but I just mentioned it in case you might be interested.
Nope, happy with original version, would just like it all to work A tiny point, but I just mentioned it in case you might be interested.

You have had terrible luck so far, but I know how to cheer you up.
A front indicator failure on a DB9, seems to just require a bulb.
If you had chosen a Vantage, a front indicator failure can mean a whole new headllight.
There you are, feeling much better now.

Well, I thought the AM was the "worst" for these front bulbs, and then I offered to change one in a ML-350.....
Forget the fancy stuff. In my daughters facelift Clio 3, unbelievably, apparently the correct way to change a headlight bulb is both front wheels off, liners out, bumper off, remove headlight unit, replace bulb and refit all the above. Fortunately, a nice man from Poland on YouTube, demonstrated that if your hands are small enough and you're prepared to hurt them a bit, you can do it from the bonnet without removing anything. He's right, thank goodness!V8V Pete said:
