Realized overtime the movies I enjoy the most are those where either the underdog comes out on top or are just inspirational/ thought provoking. Some examples below and would like some recommendations. So what films do you find inspiring or thought provoking??

Rocky - Doesn't get more inspiring then this. The nobody becomes the world champion.

The Pursuit of Happiness - Not a big Will Smith fan but really enjoy this movie. Seeing a man struggling with life turn his life around (one for the people who post in the job thread to watch)

Intouchable - The french version not the crappy US remake. For me one of the best movies made in the last 10+ years. About an immigrant from the wrong part of Paris who turns his life around by becoming a carer for a wheel chair bound millionaire in turn changing his life around as well. Sounds dull...it really isn't. Despite being in French one of the most rewatchable, enjoyable movies I've seen

One Flew over the cuckoo's Nest - My ATG favourite movie with my favourite scene ever when Chief escapes the asylum.

Moneyball - No words needed. Just brilliant with great performances from Pitt and Hill.

The Big Short - Thought provoking Wall St film with another great performance from Bale.

Thought provoking and oddly inspirational (and sad): El mar adentro /The sea inside. Amazing performance from Javier Bardem.

Thought provoking: Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind
