Afternoon all, I've just started an online foraging course and i'm after a good recommended book to help with plant identification... and help will be muchly appreciated...

The River Cottage 'Hedgerow' and 'Mushrooms' books will cover 99% of what you're looking for.

Both written by John Wright, where these score is the point-by-point guide to the poisonous species as well as edibles, so there's no chance making a mistake.

I have Mabey's book and found it a bit basic - it was written in the 1970s.

...that being the case you can be sure that everything covered is safe to eat!
