ECU Fault Code 12

Hello Hellooooo,

Hooked my baby upto a fault code reader to see if i could pinpoint my idle/stuttering problem (thanks rfisher)

First hooked it up and..... nothing. Good sign me thinks but I was sure there was something that SHOULD be showing up. Unplugged ECU and then hooked her back up again.

"FAULT code 12"
"12 Airflow meter out of range"
"Possible air leak or wiring fault"

Now that I have the code I gotta try to sort out where to start looking. Im thinking there may be a bit of an air leak somewhere around the plenum (have a bit of a sucking noise coming from around that area - although, could just be the butterfly valve sucking in air (thanks greenv8s) but think it may be more.

Since im still a bit of a newbie, i'd like to cruise along to a meet (in the SW or close) to have a look over and chat with some other owners. Anything I should get involved with?

See if you can get somebody to swap air flow meters with you.
