I have just been rear ended in my car, Exchanged details etc and the insurance company have recommended Auxillas for a courtesy car .
I hadn't heard of them before and am curious if they are an accident management company or do they just supply cars to insurance companies?
And also if they are a credit hire company which could land me with a bill for the car at excessive prices?
Has anybody had any dealings with them and how did it go.
Thanks for any replies.

I’d run a mile from them if I ever had another bump. I took a hire car from them in good faith after someone rear ended me (they were recommended by my own insurers).

The third party insurers disputed the cost of the hire so Auxillis came after me to recover the monies. It got right down to solicitors being instructed and threats of a court appearance until the tp insurers paid up.

Lots of extra stress when you really don’t need it. You’re better off having a courtesy car from the repairing garage if available.

Thanks for that.
The only problem would be I am 6 ft 8 inch tall and couldn't fit in their courtesy car but am going to take the car in Tuesday for checks , I think it needs new bumper and the rear crash bar could be bent.
