Hi Chaps, first post.
Like a fool I pulled off the road to assist an oncoming car on a single track road and caught the aluminium undertray on a bush stump, creasing it badly and ripping some fixing out of the front bumper.
Now the anger has subsided i need to fix.
Does anyone know if the undertray is the same on both the Coupe and Volante, as there is a sensibly priced used on but its for the Volante.
Any info greatly appreciated. Ian

The Volante and Coupe front undertrays are different - the Coupe undertray is much longer as the Volante has a structural shear plate behind it and the front plate is just aerodynamic, not a structural stiffening plate.

Damn!! Thanks for the reply. I thought from Googling around the sports pack cars had the short version as well, only did it this morning so haven't had it up on ramps to remove and see whether its a long or short in section.

Yes, you are correct in that the Sports pack has the shorter front plate (as it has the additional shear plate) which look the same as the Volante plate

So as a cheap repair, if I can source both the short front sports pack undertray and the further rearward section, it would give a complete solution

Yes - although that front undertray looks rather bent - easy fix though.

Was going to suggest you could buy my spare shear plate as I upgraded it, but it would probably cost almost £89 to post it ;-)
