Yep, first issue found, when I got to work,
Passenger side foot well in line with front corner of the door, there is a large wet patch.
Common issue? ways to fix?

I am guessing looking at the search, take door card off and check the plastic inside the door is still water proof
we had a lot of rain yesterday
anything else to check?

2004 monaro
Thanks
Pete
I will do a Readers ride thread later today smile I have realised that there have been no decent pictures of it yet

Pretty common issue but usually a simple fix.

As you say, door card off and check that the plastic membrane is still in place.

Yep, re-seal the plastic membrane. Extremely common when the cars were a lot younger......

The carpet is sponge backed . It took weeks for mine to dry out.
If it’s not coming in the door , you may find this up in the passenger footwell . It’s where the front wheel arch joins the bulkhead.

I’d long forgotten the weld job there, I repaired that in 2019
