TV are reporting the death of Mo Mowlam. Terribly sad, a woamn I had alot of time for.

Totally agree. She seemed to have the courage of her convictions on every subject she chose to comment on.

Edit: This excerpt from the BBC article seems to sum her up pretty well:

Politicians who are direct, plain speaking and say what they think seem to get shot down, either by their colleagues or the media. That only leaves the slippery bullshitters.
