Favourite 'bit part' roles...
Discussion
Great topic
Three spring to mind at the moment with probably more to follow…
Sheila from Detectorists. Doesn’t say or do much but can’t take my eyes off her.
Landlord from Plebs. Just something about the way he talks and delivers his lines.
Lord Flasheart from Blackadder. Rik Mayall at his best, totally stole the show and was only in two episodes and even then only for a few minutes.

What is your favourite 'non starring role' character from a film or TV show. Mine has to be Patrick Malahide, 'cheerful' Charlie Chisum from Minder, he always had wonderful lines delivered with laconic perfection, makes the show for me. Any other suggestions?
Chisum is a fantastic character. Always thought Mrs Pumfry was superbly eccentric in All Creatures Great and Small. Some good nominations here but there can only be one winner.
