Bit of a weird one, hope someone can help.

Citroen relay van 2012. Windscreen Wipers run intermittent, normal and fast fine but do not switch off. They run intermittent even when stalk is in the off position. They stop when the key is out the ignition.

Pulled out the fuse and the wipers still work exactly as above. It’s definitely the correct fuse I’m taking out, several fuse diagrams I have viewed online

Any ideas?

Maybe the motor has a second fuse/supply for the park circuit?
Sounds very much as if something is shorted inside the motor, not full of water is it?

On some Volvos (mine is a '15 v40) there is a button for "rain sensing" which means with the wipers in the off position they still work intermittently in the off position, perhaps these are the same, check the manual.

Obviously is isn't possible for something electrical to work without a supply, so they must be getting a supply from somewhere. You either need to get out the multimeter if you have one & go through the wiring or pay an auto electrician to do so.

Cheers folks, will try taking out the wiper motor and see if it’s full of water.

It doesn’t have rain sensitive wipers but will see if there is perhaps a fuse for it
