A New Range Rover?
Discussion
I have noticed the dedication amongst long term Range Rover owners.
I have also noticed the complaints about the reliability of Range Rovers.
Fairly serious question. Should I buy the cheapest new Range Rover I can find, keep it for 3 years and then replace it with another new car on the first car's third birthday? Presumably - JLR will provide a loan car if my car is off the road for warranty work?

So basically change the car as soon as warranty runs out? Sure, that will stop you spending money on repairs, ... but probably cost you tens of thousands each time you change. If you can stomach the depreciation, nothing wrong with that. We all like a stress free life.
Another option would be to buy a 3 year old approved used car. The car would have done the worst bit of depreciating and think they come with a 2 year full manufacturer warranty, and change car every 2 years. So a less expensive option.
People seem to accept they will cost a couple of £k a year to maintain, but do so willingly because they love them so much.

I do know a serial Rangerover owner who does what you are suggesting OP and has owned Range Rovers for probably going on 20 years now, he does say sometimes he feels like he spends more time in the dealerships courtesy car whcih is usually a Freelander rather than his own Range Rover but he keeps going anyway
