Any Business Owners Seeking Exit?
Discussion
For the last few years I've been working with Boomers (born just after WW2) coming to retirement age and others looking to sell their business, but I wonder whether there will be more this year due to the interest rates increase, recession, BBL repayments, Brexit impacts etc which are headwinds to growth.
I suspect that there will be quite a few more now so will be interested to know your thoughts.

Obviously it is much more your area of expertise than mine but is there not a possibility that fewer will be seeking to exit as there is less money around to buy the businesses in questions and the investments the owners were relying on to generate retirement income have fallen in value? Ergo they choose to carry on working to extract more annual revenue and wait until the sale market improves?I suspect that there will be quite a few more now so will be interested to know your thoughts.

Yes I guess it's all about individual circumstances
It is. If they have made their money, have no mortgage, a good bank balance and decent pension, the value of the business is of less importance. Ultimately if they decide to sell now there's little reason not to.
