2010 Volvo XC90 2.4 diesel automatic

Looking for some advice, I have just bought the above car for the purpose of towing my caravan occasionally but mainly for walking dogs, I’m a bit concerned as it will be used daily to drive approximately 1 mile to where I walk the dogs therefore the car will never get properly warm, am I likely to ruin it? Love the car although it is a little bit thirsty 😳

Fairly reliable lump. Maybe a long journey once a month would help
