Nice - Would that be the motorail terminal at Dusseldorf?

It's a great trip - done it with my my car and I have to say that I was nervous about putting it on the train, but the Germans were top drawer and are obviously used to transporting precious metal.

I know you made the lady anonymous, but the wife will still know that it's not her!

Well,

1) Yes it's the rail terminal at Duesseldorf. I do the trip each summer

2) The girlfriend is wearing the "chunky" Rayban's Didn't tell her about posting the photos so I thought a bit of courtesy was required

3) The weather was unseasonably cold along the Grossglockner pass 2 weeks ago. It was -3.5C at the top and snowing. However, 30 mins drive south after the summit and it was 24C and sunny
The weather had it's advantage, very few cars and with 4wd, the wet hairpins were FANTASTIC

Best take some woolly shades

The weather can change in a couple of days although I hear it's particularly bad at the moment. However, 2 weeks is a long time with regards to mountain weather
