Virgin Radio... repetitive

The other half quite likes Virgin Radio. It's not a bad listen, Graham Norton is always good value, but is it me or do they have a playlist of about 5 songs?
I listen very infrequently, usually only in her car, and they ALWAYS play Nickleback/Rock Star, Alanis Morisette/Head over Feet, Levellers/Beautiful Day, Extreme/More than Words...and I swear that's pretty much it!
What's going on? Is it some "can only play songs from the Virgin label as it's cheap" or something else?
