Anyone had to buy any bolts for the prop-shaft to diff flange? Guessing they are same as on Sierra - I'm missing one and one is worn. Marking on them shows thread is a very fine 10.9 so guess they won't be in Halfwits. Any good suggestions for securing them - threadlock good enough? Cheers
How about taking one of the bolts to B+Q and getting a couple of nyloc nuts, they have a plastic/nylon insert in them and they are very good. If you put a thread lock on as well they will be on for good. Hope this helps.

ta -will definitely use threadlock - can't use nuts though as there isn't enough room on the back of the bolt - plus not sure what adding the mass of nuts onto the spinning and (relatively) balanced prop-shaft might do. Off to Ford dealer today so will post results later

If you know the spec of the bolts, you could get them from somewhere like Namrick?

yup, found a few suppliers on the web but was looking for somewhere local to get them pronto. In the end Ford dealer has had to order them anyway! (looks like they are from Sierra circa 85-89 as expected). The missing ones are a bit worrying! - might be worth checking once in a while.
for info - got the bolts from Ford dealer (Part No - F6118344 or VOR 026651) - described as M10 x 12mm. Cost 84p + VAT each. Arrive in a nice blue tint which i think is a threadlock coating, but i've put more on myself.
