After watching Ford V Ferrari, I was really looking forward to this, another film/documentary, about the titans of the car world, going head to head!
The opening scene is, Ferruccio Lamborghini, driving a Countach and Enzo Ferrari a Ferrari a Mondial, yes they really are comparable cars. No sir, Ferrari has nothing comparable to a Countach in their stable.
With the exception of Frank Grillo, the acting was wooden and amateurish. The racing scenes would be laughable, if they weren’t so tragic. The adherence to history is almost comical. There was no attempt to explain Bob Wallace’s, importance in the development of the first car. In one scene they are testing the Lamborghini 300GT, parked outside the factory is a lovely yellow Dino 246 GT, I doubt anyone, spent time looking at consistency, a day with a car nerd, would have sorted that out.
Do not watch with your partner, they will wonder why the hell you’re screaming at TV, twitching, and behaving like a demented idiot. Unless of course your partner is also a car nut, then they will be joining in with you!
Not even sure, I’d recommend viewing it for free, it really is that bad!
