The Ulez-compliant search tool has been temporarily removed as we work on our data.
As a new CAZ (clean air zone) is being introduced, we are focusing on making the emissions data available and easy to understand for each advert, as the exclusions vary by zone.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience."

The AT data, although useful, was often times hit and miss and plain wrong on certain circumstances, so it’s good that they removed it.
If looking for a petrol car, most from 2002 onwards (Euro 4), even before, will be compliant. Diesels are harder but you’re mainly looking for Euro 6 compliant cars - from 2016 for sure but some 2915 models are compliant.
The ULEZ checker is your friend.

Just go to the GLA website ULEZ checker and input the registration number
Thats just as unreliable. For example, car for sale thats just had a private plate recently removed, messes with the system. Also non compliant cars due to no data on the system, could be compliant once certificate of conformity are submitted to TFL.
