I bet most of you have experienced this...but have you actually fixed it yourself?

Pull out power cable from cigar lighter, female section comes out with male! Doh!

I've got as far as speaker removal, and self tapper behind ash tray..but now...?

How does that panel really come off?

This has happened to me about ten times before...but I usually leave it to a man wot duz!

I thought it'd be a nice little project on a Friday evening prior to an imbibingfest!

Steve. It's in 'The Bible', page 304 (2nd edition). There are supposed to be three studs in the trim with a 10mm nut on each, which pass through the door. One is in front of the speaker (found that one no problem) and the other two are further back. I think I found one of them but couldn't get a spanner on it. Good luck!

Took my door trim off this weekend - found that there were actually 4 nuts on mine!!!

You've got to get to them through the speaker hole - if you can't get your arm into the speaker hole (past your elbow) then don't bother 'cause you won't be able to reach the farthest nut - oh yeah and I dropped a couple of nuts down the inner skin - christ knows how I'm suppossed to get those out

The job is quite easy - if your arm fits in the hole and you've got a 10mm spanner thats not too long

I've actually adopted plan B and wired it up to the Accumate outlet! (I deffo couldn't get my arm in!

Speaking of the Road Angel, I'm thinking of getting one - however, I was interested to know if you could actually hear the alarms what with the Chim's noise levels. And can you see the LEDs in sunlight with the roof down?

I have a Tom Tom Go, equipped with the speed camera database, but it's all but useless in the Chim, due to the noise!

I've a RA2, and have had no problems with sensory detection!
