‘Redbar’ watch clubs
Discussion
Hello all. I’ve recently been made aware of a Redbar watch event/club due to take place in the local area (Nottingham).
I wondered if anyone here has attended one. What’s to be expected? Do I turn up wearing one watch and chat to other watch people?
Is there a requirement to take your watch off? This feels a security issue

Where would one find a bit more detail about said 'nottingham' event?
It does look a little 'throw your watch in the bowl and see what you pick out'....

I've been to one in Cambridge a couple of times; turned up with three watches in a roll, and one on my wrist. Spoke to other watch fans and the odd dealer for an hour or so, had a beer, left. Haven't been back because I don't think it's really my cup of tea. Although I like watches enough, I just don't want to spend too often talking to what is invariably going to be the same people turning up, with the same watches, time and again.
I’ve been to quite a few and it’s pretty much what you expect - people talking about watches. Some people just bring one, some people bring a dozen.
No requirement to take your watch off.
Alpha is not the word I would use, but I suppose it depends on the group. The one I go to is a very mixed crowd of ages, incomes and tastes.
