Front left looks flat.
I suppose owner came to their senses and abandoned it?
Might be worth checking he/she's not inside still at the wheel having died of boredom...I suppose owner came to their senses and abandoned it?
Lots of
in this thread.
However... I don't think this is a particularly dismal car. It's a car that the majority of PHers would not even remember exists come new car buying time, granted, but for reliable transport with a decent boot for someone who only wants 'A to B' motoring (notice how that phrase is always used to describe snoreworthy motors?) and a giant warranty, I can't think of anything better than an Auris estate. Except maybe a Corolla estate, because they're slightly less s
t looking.
Wow, there's a sentence I didn't see myself ever saying.

Not so sure. I've luckily managed to avoid an Auris, but the Toyota Aventis was the single most dreadful, dull, beige car I have ever driven. I was given it as a loan car from an Alfa dealer years ago, the dealership was 30 miles away but the Aventis was so bad, I drove it back after 2 days and said i'd rather get the bus. They had a knackered old Fiat Punto they said was the only car they had. I took that instead, it felt like a Rolls Royce in comparison.

I had an Auris, same colour as this.
Actually quite a decent car, only got rid due to the violent catalytic converter thefts locally.
Underneath the hybrid is just a Prius, so capable of 150k miles easily.
But if someone steals the cat, it's getting on for £2k to fit a new one.
Catlock shields, tilt alarms and etching are all pretty useless to deter thieves unfortunately.

This guy lowered the car by letting the air out of a tyre to make it harder to get a jack under.Actually quite a decent car, only got rid due to the violent catalytic converter thefts locally.
