What's this Key for ??

[microgod]

Recent purchased a new car and this key was attached to one of the sets. The dealer didn't know what it was for and any efforts to google it have been pointless.

Any ideas before I chuck it in a draw and forget about it ?

A crooklock??

My guess would be something that hasn't come with the car like roof bars, roof box or steering wheel lock....

Too hi-tech for roofbars or a roofbox - they are very simple. More likely to be a steering wheel lock or chastity device.

I was hoping it was for some sort of Crooklock that wasn't provided.

garage door key.

Pop into a Timpsons and ask.

Looks like a key for a good/expensive padlock.

Ring are a car accessory company. So as others have said, some kind of anti theft lock is most likely.

Looks similiar to this one, probably from a steering wheel lock of some kind.
