OK, perhaps I was being a little foolish when I tried to summon up interest in hitting the Nordschleife last year
BUT
I have just seen that TrackDays have an enormous number of track options in '23.

I have been fancying Anglesey since it was Fifth Gear's test track and TD have many options there.

If you go to their site and choose 'Anglesey' from their 'By Venue' drop-down options, the number of dates available is amazing.

Just thinkin.... laugh

Great circuit with stunning views as you drive round, it really suits a Cerbera. It is just a bigger to get to and accommodation can be hard to find at a decent price.

If there is a planned meeting up there count me in.

On a bad weather day, 50 mph sideways rain can be a feature, and the only shelter is the garages, and then only with the roller shutter doors down.
On a sunny day (careful, this is west Wales) it can be glorious, and the view out to sea as you come down the Corkscrew is magnificent.
It suits a TVR - last time I was there in my Chimaera I was only overtaken by Mercedes GT and a 911 GT3.

I post up all the trackdays I book in the 'TVR Events & Meetings' forum - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&...

I would suggest that you book the event. Then post up where you are going, along with details and a link to where to book.

Thanks for the advice Stewart thumbup
BUT
I'm so dumb that I don't understand what you mean.

What does "book the event" mean if it doesn't contain the location and details.
Haven't I given the latter already ?

Many thanks,
Mr. Dullo

Very funny smile
.....but it was a 4.6 turbo at that time. Just under 400 bhp and a shed load of torque, which suited that track.
I was surprised how many Lotuses and Caterhams I overtook, but I was having a rare "hooked up" day, and perhaps they weren't trying.

If you wish to attend an event then book yourself on and post up the details.

For example - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

I include the date, location and that is a trackday in the subject line.

I include a link to the event page in the post so people can go and find the details and book themselves on.

Although not TVR specific, there is the Trackday forum on here too where people post up the events they are going to.
