12v pulse battery charges
Discussion
I bought a Foxsur smart charger recently ($30) as I also bought some 12V gel batteries for my scooters, and they don't like traditional chargers.
Anyway, I noticed a mode called "Repair" and it is supposed to fix sulphated batteries.
So I tried it on my 12V car battery. It has an inspection window that shows the charge state, red - knackered, white - needs a charge and green - fully charged. My battery has always shown nothing, just clear! It does not hold a charge very well and will go dead after a few days and will continue to be charged for days without the charger turning off.
I put it on Repair mode for 24 hours and now the inspection glass is green! Amazing.
Youtube is full of videos saying that these chargers work. I used to be a mechanic in the 80's and early 90s and I ave never heard about repairing batteries with chargers before.
