Which version hard top have you got the early flat top with ribs or the later rear raised top?

If it is the early version quite a few had similar hinges to the raising butt hinges used on internal house doors when you have two floor levels at the same door opening. Thats if you want to take the doors off. If you wish the doors to stay on the vehicle then again butt hinges ("fixed type" can be used. The later version hard tops had similar lift off hinges as the soft tops. The upper hinge mounting into the underside of the roof (similar to the metal triangle for the soft top).

We have made sets of top hinges from flat bar welded to a section from a long bolt- the flat bar bit is drilled to suit any existing holes in door, bolt fits into a hole in edge of hard top- this means doors come of with hard top.
Have also used rising butt hinges as fitted to front doors of houses - these are handed so check befor buying.
