I'm shooting for a mag there tomorrow, so thought i'd have a play today, reel off a few hundred photos and scout out some locations in the sun :)

Hi, thanks for the comment

The picture was taken on the first apex of Coppice (I think from this map)

You can get anywhere you want if you sign on. Just walk up to race control at the top of the pit lane, sign on as freelance or whatever mag, grab your high-vis jacket and off you go! Free to wander inside the crash netting etc

Roop and myself were there today in the concourse section.

Did manage to get to see the Group A touring cars of the 80's though.

Amazing.

Anyone know what happened to the guy that was carted off in an ambulance?

Got some fantastic pics today, but can't show them as they are for the mag (although they may let me post one or two if I ask nicely). Much better than yesterdays lot though The light did help as it was fantastic sun all day. Nice to see it working this way as its usually the other way round (practice works out better than the real thing!)

I didn't have any time to check out the show at all, but i'm not massively in to that stuff, I like my track action! I take it the guy in the ambulance was from the Nova that rolled exiting Craners quite late in the day? I spoke to a masrshall and he said it was just cuts and bruises thankfully, the car was a bit of a mess with having no cage fitted.

Was a great day out, and no noise limits on track made for some awesome viewing with the race cars out against eachother!

jeez.

i did notice the commentator was not impressed with some of the driving on the day or the state of the cars on the track.

Glad he wasnt too hurt.
