DELIVERIES TO NON-EU COUNTRIES

Delivery costs will be indicated when formalising the purchase, depending on the country selected.

Orders shipping to non-EU countries, VAT/TAX will not be applied to prices. However, on receipt of the order, some taxes, duties or charges corresponding to these regions may have to be paid.

NOTE: Motocard.com does not take responsibility for taxes, duties or office charges corresponding to these regions.
I interpret that as the original question can be answered by UK customs: https://www.gov.uk/goods-sent-from-abroad/tax-and-...

I ordered a helmet from NL last year. Helmets are exempt from VAT/duty but not everyone knows that. I actually spoke to a human at HMRC and she not only confirmed that there should be nothing charged, but also told me how to go about getting it back if it was. I ordered the helmet and it turned up within a day or two, no duty, no drama. IIRC I paid about £370 against a UK price of £560.

Only slight snag is that if you have a warranty issue you'll have to rely on the manufacturer to put you in touch with someone in the UK who will help, I guess.

Just to echo what Cappo says, I ordered an AGV from ChromeBurner (I think they're also in the Netherlands) and that was exactly the same situation - no import duty etc, and much cheaper than the UK.

Always use them for helmets, nothing extra to pay, it's crazy how they can sell so cheap!
