Howdy All

My girlfriend and I planning to elope for our wedding.

There are many seemingly well-travelled folk on here, so I thought I'd ask:

Where out of the places you've been to, would you suggest eloping to?

The plan is for us to fly out, do the deed, and jump into the honeymoon considering we're already at the location.
No guests invited, so don't need to worry about them.

Nothing is off limits at this point really in terms of location - Europe, Asia, America, hot, cold, tranquil, busy, underwater, in space (may prove difficult).

Thank you

Tristan da Cunha

Most isolated island on Earth and they're part of the U.K, tip top old chap!

(I'd work on the potato hills)

What time of year or does it not matter?

Is the plan for it to be a once in a lifetime trip or could you want to return? Any limitations on length of stay (if it was only a week you may want somewhere easy/direct).

New Zealand.

I liked New Zealand, and it's far enough away that if anyone finds out they can't follow you easily.

Or a register office, and then Devon. Devon is nice.

St Micheals on the Wyre. Absolutely no chance of you being found there.

We went to New Zealand over this last Christmas and new year. It was easy, perfect, relaxed and a great motor home honeymoon.

My wife and I looked closely at where we wanted to get married , where she was from where we lived , Wrdt Indies, etc. It is not easy in tge end we chose Scotland never regretted it. Last year sfter 17 years of marry we needed our certificate recertified and stamped by the issuing government. Scotish process was fantastic, Uk home office were great.
We would have been in trouble and not had our residents permits renewed if we had been maried in some little island somewhere.
