HELP - Lambda sensor removal

Got one manifold off, but how do i remove the Sensor before the Y piece ??

Does it puu off or is it a bolt jobbie, dont want to bugger it up !!

The sensor screws in to the manifold, you might need a slightly modified socket to get over the wires

It screws out - and it will probably be well corroded in and very tight. There is a 17mm hex on the body of the sensor, recessed right down inside the exhaust. You need either the right tool for the job (a deep 17mm socket with a slot cut down the side to clear the cable) or a 17mm box spanner. The plug can be removed from the end of the wire to enable you to feed the wire down the centre of the box spanner, there are three plastic latches inside the plug which need to be released to free the cable.

I bought this:

I then pulled of the plastic protective casing and ran my angle grided down the side to create a slot to put the wires through.

Worked perfectly
