McAfee Security

Currently getting wound up by McAfee Security wanting more money off me to stop an annoying pop up that appears every 5 minutes.
Got Version 2004 6.0 with the PC and loaded it on, now a year down the line every 5 minutes I get a pop up telling me my Spamkiller has expired and gives me 2 options...
Renew subscription (at just over £20)
Continue what I'm doing (which gets shut of the pop up for 5 minutes, then it's back again :rolleyes:)
So how do I get shut of this with out parting with any cash :)
And keep it simple, 'geek' isn't my 1st language ;)

uninstall norton stuff, they are rubbish, and look for freeware pop up killer.

Oh if only things in life were that simple
It refuses to let me uninstall it, the 3 bits that were working have gone, but the Spamkiller bit that does bugger all anyway refuses to shift, and I can't find an 'uninstall' icon for it anywhere, what sort of file type is it likely to be?
