The Wales police have dropped an investigation into an alleged assault in which an 11 year old boy lost a finger.

What are they saying? That it didn't happen like that? That the boy was lying - surely not?

Or they just can't find the culprits?

I thought the article explained it when they wrote that the police said:

"Our investigation found that Raheem left the school premises of his own accord, and no other persons were involved in him sustaining the injury to his hand."

Certainly sounds like they're saying no-one else was involved so his account of being chased, didn't happen.

£107k raised on his gofundme. Should at least pay for a few prosthetic fingers as he grows up.

Doesn't mean the bullying didn't happen- just that it was too removed from the finger loss incident for it to be cause and effect?
And without that link, there was not enough to warrant police involvement. At least that how it sounds to me.
