Idiot Jumping on a Mclaren
Discussion
Envy.
I don't car what sociological or anthropological terms you wish to append to this but if scrote in question had a 1% chance of believing he could one day have something that nice he would not have done that.
The alternative is the owner of the McLaren had accidentally damaged his car doing something silly like reversing into the garage with the engine cover open, carefully jumps on the bits he has damaged & gets a mate to film it. Waits for it to go viral then claims on his insurance an retains his NCD.
But I'm still going with envy.

You’d still lose your NCD if you claimed because a scrote had jumped on your car.I don't car what sociological or anthropological terms you wish to append to this but if scrote in question had a 1% chance of believing he could one day have something that nice he would not have done that.

It’s the owners or someone who works at GVE he put it on his instagram yesturday. The person was caught.
And let me guess, let off by some do gooders because he is a promising footballer and had a difficult upbringing so it wasn't his fault?
He deserves a second (third/fourth) chance your honour.
The school system is at fault and has let him down, because he was never explicitly told NOT to jump on someone’s car.
Etc
Etc….

In fairness, I had a 2 year old Renault Scenic keyed back in 2007. In a supposedly "nice" town in Surrey. Some people are just scum, and this stuff has always gone on. I think what's changed is that the police are now seen as such a joke that scum will do what they do in broad daylight. They're so much more brazen about it because the chances of getting caught (unless someone walks into a police station with CCTV footage, the full ID of the perp, and all the required evidence) are virtually zero.
That's Uxbridge town centre, and the road where the car is parked leads to the bus station, so always lots of people wandering about. Had the misfortune of living in Uxbridge for 7 years in the late 90s / early 00s.
It wasn't a very nice part of the world 20 years ago, with a disproportionate number of petty criminals and "Wots yer problem m8" wannabe hardmen even then. Given the general direction the UK has taken since, you'd certainly have to be pretty brave to park anything nice on the street there in 2023.

None of the other people on the street seem to care which is a sad state of affairs.
It's an object, why would anyone risk their life to save a car. There are nutters out there that will kill you for less. Can't blame them.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
