What is the point of a Q8?

What does it offer above and beyond a nicely trimmed Q5 Sportback which is equally Audi, 5 seats, coupe SUV. A few more inches of space?

I'll be honest the Q5 sport back is an absolute abomination visually. The Q3 sport back works, the Q5 sport back looks gopping.

I take your point though generally. Thing is not everything makes sense. I don't mind the Q8 actually - couldn't tell you why though!

Q8 interior is lovely, I lust after a SQ8 or RS if I get busy.

The ability not to be able to actually park it anywhere !
I had one recently as a loan car and whilst nice enough to be in and drive it’s just huge.

I had an 8 series GC and it was like a boat. Got used to it quick enough though. We have a Touareg and with 360 cameras its fine.
