This has probably been asked before but what’s the best place to park £250k for a few weeks risk free and easy access?

National savings is 2.85%. Premium bonds req a full month before being entered into a draw.

Wouldn't be even valid for draw until beginning of April, so if its " a few weeks" don't bother

Bit it is risk free. The OP asked for risk free, not profit.

I think Paragon is currently the highest instant access at 3.10% but obvs only up to £85k guaranteed safe or £170k if joint if just savings but 100% safe if inheritance / house sale proceeds etc.

Profit would be nice!

Had some more info on the house so looks like a five week gap.

I’ve got the e saver with Santander noticed that’s up to £250k

Good shout - not sure they will guarantee the rate of return, but you will have fun waiting to see…

Excellent alternative but probably too short a window for profit.

The £85k fscs protection is increased for temporary high balances, such as proceeds from a house sale. Might be useful info to someone.
