Porsche and Bentley also have excellent configurators.

The Rolls Royce one let’s you do some pretty amazing and fun paint/leather options.

Also another vote for the Porsche one now they have added the paint to sample colours too.

Why has this been moved to car buying? It wasn't intended to be about actually buying a car. It was more about the configurator itself, not the product.

Aston Martin configurator is great, and with the new models, could spend hours on it. The backgrounds, views, amount of customization etc

Contrastingly, I found Range Rover configurator a bit rubbish, certain options cancelled out others without it being obvious which, and was harder to see paint colours in different lights.

Also the Ineos Grenadier configurator I couldn't get the whole car to show on screen which was annoying.

I decided to have a play with the Aston configurator and it kept crashing (iOS 18.1.1) whilst trying to do the interior of a vantage.

Ineos - works fine for me but is definitely better on pc than iPhone, probably true for most of them. I spent a lot of time in that configurator (hands up, I bought one).

I used to like the Audi one, but the Porsche has bettered it for me.

Mostly seeing if I could spend more on options than on the car itself. Things not being available in certain combinations ans D do on.

It sounds like I'm easily amused.
