Does anybody here work at BCA in Portbury?

I've had an Alpine that I ordered in September that's been 'stuck' in Portbury since mid-December. I've had all the excuses so far, alarms needing updating to Thatcham spec, locking wheel nuts needed fitting, fuel filler cap needed realignment and lack of drivers. Also they are blaming the fact that so many cars got delivered to Bristol in December they are working their way through a massive back log.

How much of this is true? Can a customer collect a car from Portbury? Is the situation there really this bad? I keep getting given a delivery date and it gets pushed back at the last moment...

Short answer is no you can't collect from Portbury.

I'm not sure what state the ports are in at the moment, but I believe it's very busy at the moment.
