New on Ch4, an interesting concept & I was curious as I’ve often watched people on YouTube at St Pancras. The first guy who learnt to play during lockdown was pretty amazing & the last older gent who just had those years of experience & fluidity.

We watched it also, and even Mrs. O - who does not have a musical bone in her body - grudgingly enjoyed it.
The lad who learned to play during lockdown, who played proper boogie-woogie "stride" piano was very good. My favourite was the young girl who had only been playing for four years, and played her own composition. I loved it; minimalist and very much in the style of Philip Glass.
