Just installed GTR and upgraded to v 1.4 and it crashes (just locks up) every now and again. Is there a well known reason for this?

This is not online by the way and I'm racing semi-pro. I have a fortissimo 3 sound card and an nvidia 5700 graphics card.

I was winning too :(

Thanks,

Mark

Latest gf but not the sc... did try but they crashed during installation and I had no sound and I had to reinstall the original drivers.

Just a thought - but have you previously had the GT-R demo installed??

This needs to be completly un-installed before installing the full version of GT-R.

I can't offer much more help dern, sorry, but check out the RSC forums for some potential fixes... there is a GTR section.

Hope you get it sorted Mike, be nice to see one of the old regulars

GTR is a great game but it does seem to have its fair share of bugs and problems (especially when playing online). Once you get them sorted out it is very satisfying

Ok, thanks guys... I was hoping there was an obvious answer or patch that everyone should have to apply.

Never mind, I'll keep playing with it and see if I can fix it before joining you online.

Regards,

Mark
