Anyone know if Monkeys old 4 liter is in use or is it a static exhibit in a pension fund collection????

Be great to do a revisited vid today to see how he feels about it after 10 years.

Same ethereal music please Mr Carey .......

I knew the person who purchased that car after Chris. He used it regularly. Alongside a 996 GT3RS and a 997.2 GT3

Very sadly, he passed away a couple of years ago and his family were left to deal with his estate. I don’t know where the car went after that. Hopefully to another good hoke though.

I saw it in one of Dave Hester's Driving Venture videos on YouTube. A chap called Myles Newhouse was introduced as the owner of the Harris car as part of a Scottish Highlands tour they were on. Seemed to be getting plenty of exercise.

I think Jonny Smith asked him about it in Part2 of his Late Brake Show video. He said, referring to his Yellow Touring, that the Touring knocks spots off it.

Newer cars should always progress the breed ... but so many new cars are produced in such volumes with so many minor variations on the same these that there really is nothing special about them.

When to make a car special you need to go for a wacky PTS, that says something.

Indeed. Quite a shock to us all. We’d done several Highland trips with him. In fact that was where we met him. We were just driving through Braemar, and he passed us coming the other way. He recognised my plate from when I used to write for GT Porsche and turned round and followed us. Spent the rest of the week with us up there and joined “our gang”. We raise a drink to him every time we are up there together. Very sad.

Thanks. We met mountain biking in Zermatt and then found we both had a love for cars too. Very sad indeed.

Pretty sure Myles still has the car. I think I saw it near his house recently.
